We are excited to launch a new support service within our organisation β Maternity Peer Support 1:1.
This free, one-to-one emotional support is offered to pregnant women and new mothers by trained peer supporters. Sessions can take place online or by phone and are designed to provide a safe, supportive space throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early postnatal period, running in parallel to our Doula Programme.
This service is for women who:
- Feel isolated, overwhelmed or anxious during pregnancy or after birth,
- Have experienced previous trauma or difficult birth experiences,
- Would like someone to talk to who understands their journey.

Weβre now recruiting volunteers to join this new programme. This opportunity is ideal for:
- Doulas (qualified or in training),
- Health care professionals (HCPs),
- Breastfeeding supporters,
- Volunteers interested in perinatal mental health and maternity care.
