What We Do
Help for all ethnicities.
Support Me Maternal Project was founded when we saw a huge difference in how the Minority Ethnic communities receive and engage in maternity care. We support all families during pregnancy, birth and early parenting whatever their circumstances.
Free Support Groups
Our aim is to continue to start new groups for different communities and languages.
We currently have 2 groups that run weekly and are free to attend.
Our breastfeeding and the postnatal group are online and available to everyone in the UK which is run by birth workers and trained peer support volunteers. It’s a place for you to connect, share your experience and get guidance on whatever it is that you’re struggling with.
We also run the Polish Village which is also a weekly breastfeeding support group for Polish-speaking families.
