We offer a range of free support for Polish & Muslim families as well as low fee services for everyone. Instead of trying to figure out what you need, we have developed a process to make sure you’re accessing the right support for you! Online Antenatal Course
Becoming a new mum (again) is life-changing. Pregnancy, childbirth and the first few months with a newborn are unlike any other time in a parent’s life.
We offer free places for families from diverse ethnic backgrounds access to this programme for 1 year. This means that you can feel confident about getting ready to meet your baby, all from the comfort of your own home! You can explore your birth choices, postnatal prep, breastfeeding and your emotional wellbeing with your family and birth partner.
Doula Care
Our Support Me Doula Fund is open and we are accepting applications from families that are in need of perinatal support but cannot afford it and/or have a language barrier. Doulas provide continuous support for the whole family through pregnancy, birth and in the early days of parenthood. Doula support can improve birth and perinatal outcomes.

Support Me has 2 villages, Polish Village & Muslim Village. We run several groups which are online and face-to-face and in-person that offer culturally aligned support in:

Birth Pool Hire
If you’re thinking about having a home birth and live in Nottinghamshire, you can hire our birth pool.
Our standard pool hire is for six weeks, from approximately 37 weeks of pregnancy. Pools can be collected from Nottingham City or Newark. Each pool comes with an air pump to blow up the pool and an option to also have the liner included. You will need to purchase a pump to empty the pool, a hose and a tap connector.
To hire the pool without the liner is £50 and with the liner is £85.
Low fee 1:1 Support
Sometimes families need more than our free support services we’re able to offer but we also understand that these services are not always affordable for many.
Anna and Manisha offer a range of paid services at a lower rate where the profit goes back into the organisation, helping us continue to offer funded support to families. These include:
- Birth & postnatal consultations
- Antenatal & birth prep sessions
- Postnatal prep & planning sessions
- Hypnobirthing
- Perinatal counselling
Anna is an experienced doula with over 5 years of experience who specialises in birth rights, birth choices and birth physiology. She’s supported 25+ parents as a birth doula and trained with Spinning Babies. Anna now delivers the majority of our Doula Training & Mentoring Programme.
Manisha specialises in perinatal emotional wellbeing and helping parents manage anxiety. She is an experienced antenatal educator and hypnobirthing teacher. She is also a baby loss counsellor for a charity as well as a culturally aligned perinatal & parenting counsellor.
